Open JMeter's Plugins Manager (Options > Plugins Manager), find "Kafka backend listener" on the Available Plugins tab and click Apply Changes and Restart JMeter. From the command line, run "./PluginsManagerCMD.sh install jmeter.backendlistener.kafka" (or "PluginsManagerCMD.bat install jmeter.backendlistener.kafka" on Windows) in your JMeter bin directory.
